Angel Mechelle

Hello world huh?

Okay…I am Angel Mechelle author of “Another Woman’s Husband” which was published by Shannon Holmes Communication Media on June 6, 2008.

This is my first novel and so far the journey has been enlightening and exciting. Shannon Holmes has given me the opportunity of a lifetime. I can never thank him enough for believing in me enough to back me.

As for me… I’m just an average woman trying to follow her dreams. I never really considered myself a “writer”. I mean, I knew that I liked to write. I knew that I had a wild imagination and I knew how to tell a story. But still I didn’t think that was enough to make someone a “writer”.

Back in the day (the days of writing notes back and forth) it wasn’t unusual for one of my girlfriends to get a ten page note from me, telling them everything that happened that day at school. They would read every page because it was interesting and even though they’d heard the story or they had been there and witnessed the same incident or heard the same conversation, they enjoyed the way I told it. I think sometimes it amused them to read my off the wall thoughts. I’ve always expressed myself better on paper than on paper. I love being able to just write what I’m thinking without hesitation or interjection. Many writers feel writing is like therapy. I agree…

I also wrote little “nothings” (poems and stories) here and there and I faithfully kept journals as long as I could without them coming up missing or destroyed, but I never shared.  I’ve heard many authors say that they used their journals as inspiration, I’m no different. My journals read like little novellas, unedited and raw. I let that be the inspiration when writing stories now.

That was then…here I am today… closer to what was only a dream…

I hope you will check out my debut novel “Another Woman’s Husband”.

‘Til we meet again in this cyber world. Be easy.
